About Elements
Helping NGOs, conservation organisations, and social-impact leaders navigate complexity, strengthen resilience, and build healthier human and organisational systems.
Elements Africa supports NGOs, conservation organisations, and social-impact leaders working in complex human and environmental systems.
We help organisations strengthen resilience, navigate social and organisational challenges, and build healthier relationships, systems, and ways of working.
Our work sits at the intersection of:
-
environmental and social safeguarding,
-
organisational resilience,
-
facilitation and dialogue,
-
leadership and team coaching,
-
capacity building,
-
conflict-sensitivity,
-
and systems change.
We work collaboratively and relationally - combining technical expertise with reflective practice, adaptive learning, and deep understanding of the human dynamics that shape organisational impact.

Supporting change-makers to change the world
For the past 20 years, I have worked within the environmental and social-impact sector across leadership and advisory roles including environmental and social safeguarding, social assessment and research, project management, stakeholder engagement, learning and facilitation, and donor and partner relations.
I support organisations and leaders working in complex environments to strengthen resilience, navigate social and organisational challenges, and develop practical, collaborative responses to change. My approach combines technical expertise with adaptive learning, systems thinking, and relational practice to support healthier organisations, partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
A central focus of my work is supporting more socially inclusive and equitable approaches within conservation and environmental initiatives - particularly through strengthening participation, safeguarding, gender equity, and community engagement in ways that support both environmental integrity and human wellbeing.
I am especially passionate about developing emerging leaders within the sector, environmental peacebuilding, partnership-based approaches to change, and the deeper inner work needed to sustain meaningful social and environmental transformation.
I have a Masters in Philosophy (Management Coaching) from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking in nature with my dogs, wild water swimming, baking, writing, reading, hiking, meditation, travelling to wonderous places, and slouching on the couch with Netflix.
